Has this person ever been diagnosed with a Motor Delay?

Questionnaire: Child with ASD

Graph Current as of: 6/17/08

Why Is This Important?

Problems with fine and gross motor skills or clumsiness have often been reported in children with ASDs. These delays can include things such as late walking, problems riding a bike, or difficulty with handwriting

Researchers are interested in how common motor deficits are, and if these correspond with various diagnoses or other factors.

Data from IAN Research:

This chart shows that nearly half of the children in IAN Research with an Autism Spectrum Disorder have also been diagnosed with some form of motor delay.
