Have you ever been diagnosed with or received treatment for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD)?

Questionnaire: Mother Basic Medical History
Date Last Updated: 6/25/08
Graph Current as of: 6/25/08

Why Is This Important?

Researchers want to find out whether issues of attention and/or hyperactivity often occur in families who have a child with an ASD.  To what extent are such traits found in children with ASDs, their parents, and siblings?

Data from IAN Research:

Pie chart showing the percentage of mothers participating in IAN who have been diagnosed or treated for an attention disorder.

This chart shows that 6% of the mothers taking part in IAN Research, at some time in their lives, have been diagnosed with or treated for either ADHD or ADD.
