Insurance

I wasn't sure so I thought I would ask. Can we discuss the different types of insurance companies and what they do and don't cover?
I have example have Tricare Insurance and I learned recently that in 2005 they began a program called Echo and it provided a special needs child with $2500 of additional coverage each month to include ABA Services. However the program was not made avilable to us while my husband was on Active Duty and now that are retirees we are not eligiable. I would love to get the word out about this program.

Thanks so much for checking to see if Insurance is an appropriate issue for the IAN forums.

Although it's an important issue --VERY important-- it doesn't quite fit within IAN as it does not directly involve research. I think probably the topic would fit better in a more general forum or discussion elsewhere. (In fact, I hope to be able to refer our users to a more general forum in the case of such topics soon.)
