There is so much that goes into raising a child, and it only makes it harder when you receive a diagnosis that states your baby has ASD. For us, we are still in the process of narrowing down the diagnosis, but after doing our own research, we feel that it is Aspergers. I have spent countless hours on the internet attempting to research all ASD, and sometimes just get confused. There is so much information out there that it can be overwhelming. When I found IAN Research, I felt I could finally breathe easy. Not only did I find a place of reliable knowledge about my precious boy, but also a place that could help me help him. As parents, his Dad and I try hard to understand all the little quircks and routines that he is so addiment to adhereing to and do our best to help him learn to cope with the world. I see IAN as the light at the end of the tunnel, which not only allows us to help our own family but gives us the potential to help other families as well.
Thank You!!

We just found out why our son was allways a little off for a long time everyone thought he was just a little delayed and it took till he was 5 before we knew what was relly wrong. I still feel angry for listing to everyone who said I was just over prctive or makeing it sound worse that it relly is. I want to learn everything I can about Autisim and this seems like a great place to start.
