Webinar on the Views of Parents and Scientists about Autism
In this video, Ruth L. Fischbach, PhD, MPE discusses her research, which explores the views of parents in the Simons Simplex Community and scientists about the causes of autism, priorities for research, genetic testing, and stigma. This research is important because trust and communication between parents and scientists is critical to the medical and public health response to autism.
Dr. Fischbach is professor of Bioethics at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Mailman School of Public Health.
